MISTERIOSO OBJETO BOOKLET
A PROJECT BY ACME ESTUDIOMisterioso Objeto was a cycle of five residencies developed by ACME Estudio between 2022 and 2023, with nodoCCS, Vicent Orts, Pía Mendaro, Gema FB Martín and Lucas Muñoz.
Each creator was invited to develop a new work using scraps and surplus materials from ACME’s productions, beginning with a fragment inherited from the previous resident and leaving one behind for the next. The five projects thus formed a material and conceptual Cadáver Exquisito, where each work became both a continuation and a starting point.
This publication brings together the documentation of the five residencies alongside texts by Héctor Cavallaro, Julia Ábalos, Clara Cebrián, Catarina Real and Joel Blanco, each responding to one of the projects.
Misterioso Objeto explores how materials, ideas and authorship can circulate, transform and accumulate meaning through processes of reuse, collaboration and inheritance.
